The Myst Comics were intended to be a 4 part series that explored the lives of Sirrus and Achenar in more depth, touching upon their dealings with the Black Ships from the Mechanical Age [see: Myst].
The series was cancelled by Cyan after errors were made (such as mixing up the names of Sirrus and Achenar with Dark Horse refusing to correct them).
As a result on the the first issue was published followed by an Issue 0.
The comics are not considered as part of the Myst canon.
