Sep 23 18 Return of the D’ni Jazz Club

Shorah denizens of the D’niverse!

For the better part of the last year or so I had been pondering about bring DJC back. With it being the 25th Anniversary of Myst this year, indeed this weekend, I felt that this would be the perfect time for it.

So here we are…ta dah!

I have returned the site in the last build I was working on at the time of the site’s closure several years ago, albeit with some tweaks and updates.
Some of the sections have been moved around and condensed into other pages to make navigation a little less cluttered (difficult to do with the amount of information all the games contain).

Will I be updating the site? Yes absolutely. There is more to be added to the site like walkthroughs for all the games which were sadly not saved during my final backup thus I will have to redo those from scratch, as a result they weren’t going to be ready for the sites launch.

I am also rewriting all the Uru/Uru Live collectables pages to make them cleaner as well as a few new sections to go up in the future covering DIRT/MUDPIE and Until Uru. There is also areas of the sites appearance and styling elements that I’d like to further adjust.

You will also notice that we have a new domain name. Sadly due to a snafu I accidentally lost the old dnijazzclub.com domain name, thus the change. If you have DJC bookmarked or listed on any of your own sites you might want to update the url.

If you have discovered any issues with the website, want to suggest features, or want to suggest a website to be added to the “Links” page then please feel free to contact us.

With that out of the way, welcome to the new visitors. To the old vistors, welcome back!

About MystiTech

MystiTech Productions was formed in February 2013 by Nora Leonard and Frank Zavelberg with the intention of making a Myst machinima using the avatars and locations of Cyan’s Myst Online: Uru Live. Without the generosity of Cyan, who made the game engine and development tools available as open source in April 2011, this project would not be possible.

Sep 6 18 Steam Game Codes Going Out

Via the Kickstarter Page:

Monday, September 10th, 2018, we will begin emailing Myst 25 Kickstarter Backers their Steam keys. Backers’ Steam key distribution begins at 10am and will continue until we’ve emailed them all.

Make sure your email system has our email “backers@cyan.com” marked as a safe sender so you can receive your Steam keys email. If we’re not marked safe in your system, the email might get dropped into Spam, Junk, or Trash. Worse, it might get deleted and you’d never know it.

The Steam key distribution process may take a few days. If you’re a Backer who chose Steam in the survey you returned to Blackbox.cool and you do not see an email by 10am Friday, September 14th, 2018, please email support@cyan.com to request help.

A reminder for anyone who missed it before: Steam keys provide access to both the Windows 10 (PC) and MacOS 10.13 builds (when the Mac ones become available), and the keys should have no expiration date.

Thank you all for waiting so patiently as we worked to get the games ready for you. We can’t wait to send you those keys!

Aug 28 18 New Myst T Shirt at Fangamer

The first product has been added to the Myst merch section of Fangamer. A beautifully designed T-Shirt by Ian Wilding showing the falling man over the top of Myst Island. The T-shirt also comes with a nifty “Falling Man” sticker.

Kickstarter backers have a one time use 20% off coupon for the merch store.

You can pick up your shirt here: Myst Merch Store

[Note] – The T-Shirts are currently sold out due to high demand, you can preorder for the next run.

Jul 6 18 GoG Game Codes Going Out

Those who opted for game codes via GoG.com are starting to find them in their email inboxes.

If you have returned your completed survey, please have patience as you wait for your code. If you didn’t receive a code yet but did return your survey, it just means your number in the queue has not yet been served. The queue, remember, is 19,000+ backers.

There are many issues being handled behind the scenes, and we are working as fast and efficiently as we can to serve many, many help requests. If you sent a request for help already and didn’t get a reply yet, please have a bit more patience. You might not hear from us until next week, depending when you wrote in.

We are aware of an issue some Backers have run into when redeeming their Myst 25 code at GOG. It appears that if all the check boxes were not checked for all 7 games, only the games whose check boxes were ticked will be added to the Backer’s account.

If this has happened to you, please link to GOG SUPPORT immediately so they can begin working their magic (resetting your individual code) and get all the games you pledged to own into your account.
